About Me

I'm an analyst where I sit at a desk in a cube all day and understand how computers work.  (I'm actually really good at it, except when I feel like an idiot.)  I have a kid and two boys, because I can't do anything the simple way.  I've quit worrying about my body weight, 80 pounds more than I had in high school, and started worrying about playing rugby better.

My projects now include:
  • Helping my boys keep our kid alive with an eye to her one day becoming an Actual Person
  • Building my career into something interesting, but where I still can has money
  • Running and so on, so that I can tackle scampering backs during rugby matches
  • Figuring out what exactly I want to do with the rest of my life

In 2012, I was a recent graduate from a four-year engineering school, where I majored in Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management. I escaped in May 2012 with two degrees, minimal debt, and sixty pounds of body weight I didn't have when I graduated high school.

My projects then included:
  • Marrying my fiancé
  • Finding a job
  • Getting back to a healthy weight and body composition
  • Figuring out what exactly I want to do with the rest of my life
